Quick Detachment Low-Loss RF Adapter (TNC-M / BNC-F)
Common usage adapting Military Radios (PRC-163, PRC-152, PRC-148) to quickly change to SATCOM and other antennas. They are specifically useful when using field expedient means to increase height of issued LOS antennas.
The TNC Female (Threaded Neill–Concelman) side of the connector is a threaded version of the BNC connector. The connector has a 50 Ω impedance.
The BNC (Bayonet Neill–Concelman) connector is a miniature quick connect/disconnect radio frequency connector used for coaxial cable. It features two bayonet lugs on the female connector; mating is fully achieved with a quarter turn of the coupling nut. The connector has a 50 Ω impedance.
The Low Loss RF Adapter is finished in black chrome and is designed for rugged use.
